Specs-wise, the Oppo F1 Plus FC Barcelona Edition is practically identical to the standard F1 Plus. But on the outside it features 18-karat gold-plated club insignia, a themed UI and the Spanish football team’s blue and red jersy colors. Oppo has finally unveiled a gold-laden, limited edition variant of its F1 Plus smartphone. After AndroidPIT received a leak about this device last week, the first official details are now here.
The FC Barcelona edition has an all-black front, which contrasts the standard version’s white. The back displays Barcelona FC blue crossed by two red stripes, plus the gold-plated insignia.
“The F1 Plus is all about snappiness, style and speed, so there’s no better partner for it than the phenomenal FC Barcelona,” Oppo’s international mobile business managing director said in a statement. The 5.5-inch phablet comes with 64 GB of internal storage, a fingerprint sensor, VOOC Flash Charge technology and a 16 MP front camera.
The blue case that comes with the F1 Plus ‘FCB Edition’ also features laser-printed signatures from players Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suárez, Ivan Rakitić and Andrés Iniesta.
The F1 Plus FC Barcelona Edition will be available in China, Singapore and Indonesia along with other markets by mid-June. Oppo is yet to provide more details on availability and pricing, but said the latter would vary by market.
