Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop update

The Android 5.1.1 Sprint Galaxy Note 4 update (N910PVPU4COG5) went out over-the-air (OTA) on August 3, but is now available for download from Sam Mobile’s firmware section if you want to flash it manually.

The update to 5.1.1 addresses many of the Android Lollipop problems that initially plagued devices and delivers the Stagefright fix to the Sprint Note 4. It also brings the usual performance and stability improvements, along with ‘new/enhanced features’ – if you see any of the latter be sure to let us know in the comments.

Sprint’s Lollipop upgrade package is a big file, so make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi and your phone is charged to at least 50 percent before downloading. To check for the update, go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update.
